Greetings From Saskatchewan #WeWishYouWereHere

Greetings From Saskatchewan #WeWishYouWereHere

One of the things that is so great about the community of Regina, and all of Saskatchewan, is the pride we have with respect to where we’re from and what we do. Saskatchewan people, from prairie farmers, highway workers, students, nurses, teachers, business men and women, and yes, even the politicians, always embody hard work, dedication, determination, and gratitude. When I think of Saskatchewan, I think of people prepared to do what it takes for what they want out of life.

One other trait we all seem to share is that we are very humble.

I am going to cast away humble for at least this blog post and during an upcoming Twitter campaign called #WeWishYouWereHere #Saskatchewan. This campaign, organized by @dezguy and @nkatchuk, is intended to be a community driven project and we need your help.

Your Mission…

On June 15, 2012, your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to share your story about why Saskatchewan is so awesome. There are many ways you can do exactly that…

  1. Go to http://wewishyouwerehere.ca and share the site on Facebook and Twitter.
  2. ‘Like’ the We Wish You Were Here In Saskatchewan Facebook page and share it with your friends. While you’re there, share a story or two about why Saskatchewan is awesome.
  3. Join Saskatchewan’s social media diehards and share positive messages of our awesomeness with your social media networks… just add the hashtags #WeWishYouWereHere #Saskatchewan. Get the word out in as many ways as you can think of.
  4. Share a story in the comments below.

  1. Don’t you love it when a community easily comes together and is a joy to be a part of? Good luck with the campaign. In the meantime, welcome to Livefyre, and please feel free to let us know if you have any questions or feedback for us. We’d love to help!

    •  @annedreshfield I appreciate that you stopped by and thanks for re-welcoming me into the livefyre community. I have always liked livefyre comments and finally have a blog designed in such a way as to make the standard integration a “fit” design.

  2.  dezguy and nkatchuk , I’m hoping the campaign tomorrow goes off like wildfire. I will be monitoring and sharing as much as I can and look forward to staying tuned to the conversation.
    Great initiative.
